Adventure Camp at School!!!!

Well, I think today was one of my best day at school. We had an 'Adventure Camp' at school. We had 6 adventure activities. They were:
1.Burma Bridge - in this we had to first climb up a rope and from there, we had to walk over a knotted rope. It was thrilling!!!
2.Rope \ ladder climbing - we had to climb up a rope ladder. This was not very interesting.
3.Jumarine - here we had to climb up a rope with the help of some small devices - called Grapplers. Required lot of arm power.
4.Rappelling - this was the most scariest. We had to jump from our school terrace with the help of ropes. Hmmm... I had a slight accident at the first stage of climbing up... nothing serious, just a small bruise on my right leg!!
5.Greased rope descending - here we had to sit on bag like thing and come down on the rope. This was very easy as the height was very less - first floor to ground floor!
6.Flying fox - this was something like a rope way where we had to hang and slide down. This was the most exciting!!

These were the best activities I have ever done in a long time.

My sister Shreya also won the 1st prize in book cover designing for the Primary Classes on 25th Apr. She made the cover for her favourite book - LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD . She made the following cover for practise at home:

Little Miss Mermaid

My cuty sis shreya won the 1st prize in her school’s(Navy Childrens School) fancy dress competition on 25th April. She was dressed up as

THE LITTLE MERMAID

She wore a dress, blue in colour with dazzling glitters. She was made to wear a fin (made of chart paper by Mummy and Papa), a crown and a beautiful necklace made up of beads and sea-shells. Her lines for the fancy dress was:

I did not listen to father, that’s why I am alone!!

My Dreamland

Far across the country side

where winds blow day and night

the smell of roses freshens all

And stable waves shine like light

There is peace at every corner

love at every path

the nature is a splendour

and life is full of delight

The birds chirp all day

the trees are always in gay

the sunflower always smiling

the jasmine bids sprouting

The little grass growing green

And peacocks spreading feathers clean

then comes a cute little girl dancing

in her own little world

where life means partying

She would laugh

She would grin

She would make the sky swing

And oh!what do i see?

that’s ME!!!

In my dream land

where happiness has no end

where sky is the limit

of my great spirits

where i enjoy

all my fears and all my joys!!!!!
